This was the first projector that I have purchased. I have the optoma HD20 set up in my basement projecting on 100 inch screen that i purchased on ebay. The projector looks awesome and displays very clear and crisp images. The fine tuning of the projector is a little bit complicated but there are many fourms that you can look on to assist you with modification. I have read a few reviews that said the blacks appear grayish on the projector. I have not really found this to be a problem that blacks look very good on the white matte screen I have. It is in the basement so light levels are completely controllable so I am sure that helps tremendously. However even with the lights on the picture is still very clear.
